Ready or not here it comes. Sony is trying it's hand on a fairytale classic. Although Disney's animated and live-action version are regarded as iconic, the new addition will rely on bold casting choices. In other words; this ain't your mother's cinderella.
One of those bold choices is having Billy Porter (Pose, American Horror Story) join the cast as the fairy godmother. Undeniably this should extend the reign of Mr. Porter and may even take him one step closer to becoming an EGOT. He is already a Grammy, Tony, Emmy award winning artist.
