Lil Nas X Is Literally Too Many "Firsts" To Put In This Headline

Someone tell google to fix it.

"Old Town Road" artist Lil Nas X is continuing to rack up iconic milestones for his genre bending smash. Just recently the remix of Old Town Road won the Country Music Award for "Musical Event of Year" an award that we verified existed before Lil Nas X's arrival on the scene.

This is notable because his original song was previously removed from the country charts sparking controversy. That's why we hated it when we saw our google search results give the majority for the credit to one of his collaborators.

Lil Nas X Beats Mariah Carey's Record

The longest running #1 song is by a black gay man.

The gracious queen Mariah Carey recently took to social media to congratulate Lil Nas X on breaking her record for longest stay at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100. This whole story is a testament to the endurance of the American spirit. At a time that people are citing U.S. political division. The people have a lifted a country wester song by a black gay rapper to #1. Take that haters!

In a recent episode of "The Sit" fellow gay rapper Anye Elite and actor Cornell Sewell discussed the cultural significance of Lil Nas X and "Old Town Road". Check it out below:

Country's biggest star is a black gay man.

Despite dropping many "self described" hints "Old Town Road" rapper Lil Nas X took to twitter to come out on the last day of gay pride month.

For the most part fans have been supportive of the new star. However trolls will be trolls:
