LGBT ARTIST SHOWCASE COMING TO L.A.

Rappers and singers are nothing new to Los Angeles; but a new special night showcasing LGBT talent is a new twist.

#FunnyMoneyLive is an event showcasing inclusive urban musical acts from across southern California. Slated for Saturday May 4, 2019, aims to unite hip-hop lovers who may sometimes feel apart from the mainstream urban music movement. Although the event is being heavily marketed to LGBT audiences, straight artists have joined the line-up in a sign of support of marginalized communities within hip-hop. Artists hoping to join the line-up are encouraged to sign up here.

The event will be hosted by openly gay rapper Anye Elite at Stokelys Cafe and Social House in Mid-City Los Angeles. Elite who is best known for his contributions to Atlanta’s black gay community will be releasing his 3rd release Adventures of Bam. The EP follows his debut album “No Faux” featuring summer gay pride anthem “Yass Lawt”

Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to fund initiatives for homeless gender & sexual minorities in Philadelphia, Atlanta & Los Angeles.
