Rapper Uses Classic Hip-Hop To Tackle Modern Issues

In his newest single “Let Them Tell It” Anye questions how people are perceived and ultimately judged through cultural stereotypes. He tells the listener to look deeper for meaning and to scream their truths louder. “We never let them tell it. You a fool if you let them tell it” shout raps about what opposers say “is not valid”. Anye goes on to address several personal stereotypes. Anye, a Philly transplant living in Los Angeles, pushes back on the superficial culture associated with SoCal, “let them tell it.. Im so Cali”.
