Jordyn Woods And The War on Black Women

“The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.”

This past week the world has been shook by the drama between Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, and Jordyn Woods. On March 1st Jordyn sat down with auntie Jada on Red Table Talk to speak her truth. To much disappointment the truth was not as juicy as we all had wished.

A quick summary of her story. Jordyn Woods started by explaining her night and that it ended at Tristan's house as a party. Jordyn also spoke with Jada about how she called Khloe and Kylie after Tristan's house party to let them know she was there. However she said she was honest about being at the party, but left out one MAJOR detail. Jordyn also admitted to being drunk, and denies any physical intimacy with Tristan however confessed that Tristan kissed her as she was on her way out at 6am. Jordyn let us know how hard it’s been dealing with the media's exaggeration of the night and how harsh people have been. She admitted that she’s been receiving death threats and that her family cannot go about their daily activities without being harassed.

Jada then mentioned a very famous quote by Malcolm X, “the most disrespected person in America is the black woman.” Which made me ponder, is the fact that Jordyn is a black woman have to do with the amount harassment she’s received? Would she have been guilty before proven innocent in everyone's eyes without any factual evidence if she were white? Or is this just more bandwagon bullshit like the Jussie Smollett scandal.
