Lil Wayne Disappointed Me With His Trump Antics

Hope it was worth it.

When Lil Wayne originally made news for supporting former president Donald Trump many suspected that there had to be some type of quid pro quo involved. Now we know that Lil Wayne was seeking relief from his federal legal problems. In this instance, Trump made good on his promises...at least kind of.

Instead of offering Lil Wayne a full pardon which would have in essence erased the rapper's sentence, Trump issued a commutation thus removing the sentence but maintaining the conviction and criminal record.
